At the end of each ice making cycle, TURBO ICE and only TURBO ICE, is tempered by an extra moment of low temperature freezing. This makes TURBO ICE remain extra dry and therefore mobile longer than any other form of ice...and it requires no extra drying apparatus.

Because of this dry tempered procedure, the hard and dry form of TURBO ICE, when placed in storage, does not crust and fuse together like other forms of ice. With a simple manual adjustment of the ice cutting bar, a range of sizes can be obtained from fine, to medium, to coarse. A timing device enables you to select the desired ice thickness(from 1/4" to 1 1/4'). Special Ice Makers are available to produce 1" or thicker ice if required.
