EXCLUSIVE LOAD DETECTOR

TURBO has anticipated many user's problems. A special load detector device signals the rake assembly to raise automatically according to varying rates of ice build-up in the bin. Also, it may be adjusted for different ice delivery rates. There is less strain and wear on the working equipment; less chance of breakdown; and, most important, less chance to bury the rake.

THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPONENT COATINGS

Another innovative concept. Ice and water can rust equipment, a known fact to everyone in this business. TURBO protects the vital components. To minimize rust and corrosion, all chains, sprockets and other steel components are eletro-coated or hot dip galvanized to produce a minimum maintenance finished product. Storage bin sliding is aluminum to keep the product clean and pure. The option of stainless steel also can be specified.

A VARIETY OF APPLICATIONS

The built-in flexibility of these products makes this equipment an efficient answer to ice storage for many practical applications.

PACKAGED ICE
INDUSTRIAL MARKETS ( Chemical processing, Seafood and Poultry Processing )
AGRICULTURAL ICING ( Produce )
CONSTRUCTION ( Concrete Icing )

All TURBO ice storage products are USDA approved(installation onsite inspection may be required). Built to meet most industrial standards. Ice loading and unloading is safe and simple. Regardless of size, every TURBO ice rake operates on basically the same, simple manner. Whatever the job, TURBO can match ice storage and delivery to demand.

GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR STORAGE

Bottom ice(blue ice) left for sometime will compact and solidify. This puts a great demand on the rake assembly to get this ice out. Turbo's rake is better equipped to do this.

This is accomplished by furnishing a much more sturdy rake assembly to handle blue ice efficiently. Turbo's heavier-duty rake can dig deeper into older, more compact ice. Our engineers with their combined experience came up with the answer. Just build a more rugged rake than the competition. Much heavier steel components do the job.

LESS DOWNTIME

This is the real user benefit. A more rugged constructed product that's more corrosion and rust resistance will always result in a product operating with less wear, less chance of breakdown. And that's what users need. Turbo's flexibility of design with the many options matches ice storing and delivery to demand, matches the product to the working conditions. As the respected leader in this business, experience has taught us what users need and want. Hundreds of applications in almost all types of storage/handling locations have helped us to anticipate any problems that can occur, BEFORE any product is installed.
